Run the two ladders side by side. A travel eSIM costs EUR 9 for 10 GB over 7 days, so four of those weeks is roughly EUR 36 for 40 GB and still no Portuguese number. A native eSIM from WOO or UZO costs EUR 5 a month for 100 GB or more and does carry one.
